In a world where transportation is a major part of economic activity and the movement of people and goods, professional driving skills are becoming an indispensable asset. However, getting this ability isn’t affordable. There are many expenses to consider, including the cost of training and the exam. In the Netherlands the cost of obtaining Code 95 can be as high as 3000 euros. The cost of getting this certificate in Poland can be as low at 1500-2000 PLN.
In Europe truck drivers must possess a Code 95 Certificate to drive trucks that weigh more than 7.5 tonnes. The certificate must be added to a driver’s licence category C or C+E, and it is valid for five years. It can also be added to the C1 or C1E license which permits the driver to drive lighter trailer combinations.
To receive a Code 95 certificate, you must undergo a medical exam and take an exam called a psychotest. After the course is completed, you will receive an official plastic Code 95 Certificate that can be included in your driving license. The cost of the course includes a medical examination, PKZ service, payment for the plastic Code 95 certificate, and theoretical lessons.
The cost of a Code 95 Certificate is the same as other types of driving lessons. It is also important to note that this course must be conducted at an accredited driving school recognized by the CBR. The student then has to visit the Road Traffic Safety Directorate and apply for a new license. The deadline for replacing the licence is six months from the date of the completion of the course. This requirement is intended to ensure that the driver is at the required knowledge and competence for driving a vehicle that is heavy. The driver should also know how to read speed limits and kilometer signs posted on the road.
Options for training
The code 95 on a driver’s license indicates that you have completed the necessary training to drive trucks or buses professionally. It is a condition that you must fulfill every five years in order to renew your driving license. The regular training is 35 hours of classes and can be completed at an instructor at a driving school or even at home (e-learning). It is possible to spread out the course over the five-year period. Your employer may pay for the courses.
There are two kinds of instruction for Code 95: the long course and the shorter course. The long course lasts about four weeks and ends with a government exam. After passing the test, you will be issued an ID card made of plastic. The card must be submitted to the unifying European certificate database. The institution where you attended your classes will submit it to the database. The card will be processed within 14 days.
The cost of the long course is around 2500 PLN, while the exam is 300 PLN. You will also have to pay a fee to the school to submit your certificate to the unifying European database. Once the card is ready you can pick it up from the school.
To be able offer an educational course that is able to issue Code 95, you must adhere to certain procedures as trainer. First you must submit a training plan to the CBR. This plan must be approved by the CBR before classes begin. You must also adhere to a variety of other strict procedures during the course.
After you have successfully completed the course you will receive a certificate of periodic training from the CBR. This certificate can be submitted to the RDW. You will then be able renew your license at the municipality once you have submitted it successfully. If you do not renew your license before the expiry date, you will not be allowed to drive professionally for more than 12 hours per week. If you want to drive more than 12 hours per week, you’ll need to take a new training course.
Exams
You must pass both the theory and practical tests to get the code 95 on your license. These tests can be completed separately or together with the acquisition of a basic category license at a driving school. After passing the exams, you will be given a certificate and code 95 card. The card is valid for five years and must be renewed before the expiration date.

Requirements

The licence is laminated similar to the European driving licence, with the bearer’s photograph as well as their name (in Latin and Cyrillic scripts), place/date of issue, allowed categories, and signature. The older booklet-style and credit-card licences are no longer issued.
