 Duties and Responsibilities:
 Prepare and ensure the implementation of the project quality plans in accordance with technical specifications and standards, as well as establishing inspection and testing programs, and work procedures so as to meet the quality requirements
 Overall responsible to manage and control of QA/QC Engineers within M&P
Section.
 Prepare and ensure implementation of Quality Management System of the
Company within M&P section.
 Ensure the Quality of the work and fulfilling project requirements.
 Analysis of the development of projects and monthly reporting their progress, in terms of physical progress, in relation to the execution plan
 Attend the Project Kick-off meeting among Project team, Production team and clients to lineout any significant technical & quality issues if anything need to be clarified clearly.
 Perform daily inspection onsite to confirm the work progress correction with
Quality Standard, Procedures.
 Co-ordinate with the Engineer/Consultant for the issue related to the quality of work.
 Monitor client’s complaint and organize meeting with related department to resolve problem.
 Ensure conformance of QA/QC documentation of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, test requests, inspection plan, procedures, weld map, etc.
 Conduct weekly meeting with client and management team to resolve any quality related problems.
 Initiate corrective actions for any raised non-conformance, and implement a preventive action plan to prevent the re-occurrence of non-conformance, all in coordination with the project QA/QC Engineers.
 Deal with client and class surveyor to clear all punch-list, NCR and outstanding items in a timely manner
 Plan, organize, liaise with the Design & Engineering Department to give recommendation in resolving the on-site Engineering issues regarding repair and modification of piping, machinery, HVAC.
 Supervise the activities on and off site of independent laboratory and ensure tests are conducted as per ITP, QCS and project requirements.
 Coordinate with the Contractor Representative and Project Manager and other departments.
 Coordinate third party laboratory and other specialist.
 Perform fit-up, dimension, and visual welding inspection of pipe/structure fabrication.
 Develop and maintain the required quality documentation for handover to client in accordance with contract requirements of Manufacturing Data
Records (MDR). Monitoring the formatting and the real-time compilation of
MDR are timely completed by QC Engineers.
